Deer Creek Campground, formally known as Clay Lick Hollow Campground, was purchased by Dan and Halie Oyler in 2004. With many restorations and improvements made to the campground, Deer Creek reopened in 2005. Deer Creek Campground is dedicated to making your camping experience an enjoyable one.
Deer Creek has many activities for the family or individual. We offer beautiful RV sites, cabins, and assorted tent sites. We have a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a children's play area, fire rings and a picnic table for each area, We also have a BBQ pit and a covered pavilion available for rent, a pool, country store and much more.
Deer Creek is also a river outfitter and we offer four, six and one half, and nine mile floating trips on the beautiful Black River. We have canoes, kayaks, tubes and rafts for rent. Our Location
Deer Creek sits on 65 beautifully wooded acres just off the highway near Lesterville Missouri. Lesterville is located approximately 1 1/2 hours southwest of St. Louis. Below are a couple of photos taken at the campground.
