Deer Creek Campground offer a 7 mile float on the beautiful Black River. We have Canoes, Kayaks, Rafts, Tubes and Party Islands for a relaxing float on the river.

How to determine what size raft you will need.
When choosing a raft size consider a person and or a cooler as one passenger. So if you have 4 persons and 2 coolers (4+2 = 6) you would want to rent a minimum size of a six man raft.
Please read all the information below before creating a reservation inquiry.
Please note there will be a $75 damage deposit on each raft, $25 canoe, and kayak that will be refunded at the end of your float trip when your float device and misc. gear is returned undamaged.
Please note there will be a $10 deposit on each float or cooler tube that will be refunded at the end of your float trip when your tube is returned undamaged.
We require anyone camping or floating with us to read and sign a Liability Wavier. You can print a copy off the web site and bring it with you filled out and signed or we will have copies available at the office when you sign in. A wavier must be filled out for each person in a group or family camping or floating with us. Thank You!

Infatable Canoes
Our infatable canoes are approximately 10' two person canoes. They will hold 2 adults. We suggest our infatable canoes for those who would like a nice easy float in a canoe with built in back rests, but do not want to fight tipping over all the time. See a picture below.

Canoes
Our canoes are approximately 15' two person canoes. They will hold 2 adults and a cooler. Or one adult and a couple of children. We suggest canoes for those who would like a nice easy float, but do not want to be in the water all the time. We use two styles of canoes see pictures below.

Kayaks
We have two styles of Kayaks.One is approximately a 9' molded modular plastic design for one. The other is approximately a 12' molded modular plastic design for one which is designed for a little larger person. There is not a lot of storage space, these units are designed to be more maneuverable in the water. I would suggest this ride for someone who wants to have a little more exciting float.

Rafts 4 Person
Our 4 person rafts feature 840 denier on both the floor and the tubes. All models have 6 air chambers, 2D rings and molded neoprene rub stakes.

Our 6 person rafts feature 840 denier on both the floor and the tubes. All models have 6 air chambers, 2D rings and molded neoprene rub stakes.

Rafts 8 Person
All of our 8 person rafts are self-bailing and feature 1,100 Dtex New Generation PVC fabric with a polyester support having excellent resistance to tearing, tension and breaking.
8 Person Rafts are $135.00
Rafts 10 Person
All of our 10 person rafts are self-bailing and feature 1,100 Dtex New Generation PVC fabric with a polyester support having excellent resistance to tearing, tension and breaking.
10 Person Rafts are $165.00
Party Island
Our new party islands are self-bailing and feature 1,100 Dtex New Generation PVC fabric with a polyester support having excellent resistance to tearing, tension and breaking.
8 Person Party Islands are $150.00
PVC Float Tubes
Our new PVC tubes are specially designed from PVC the same material as our rafts. The tube has a handle, which allows for easy carrying and comes with a seat in the inner circle of the tube. The seat has weep holes that allows water to penetrate to keep you cool but makes it perfect for smaller children who do not fit well on a tube. Our new PVC tubes are also 54" in diameter for a more comfortable ride.
